Redeem the Time is a rally cry. It’s a message, a shout to teens everywhere. If we consider ourselves Christians, the body of Christ, where are we? Have we lost our first love (Revelation 2:1-7)?
It’s a call for us to refuse to waste our lives. To be conscious of the gifts of time and life. To choose a life worthy of our calling (Ephesians 4:1).
It’s a decision to contrast our lives, highlighting Christ in us. To step out, step up, and stand apart, stating that we are not ashamed (Romans 1:16).
It’s knowing why we live, and not being afraid to say so. Surrendering to God our lives, letting Him work through us and in us, and choosing to let that transform us (Romans 12:2).
To redeem the time is to make a conscious choice. It’s not just a one time thing, it’s a continuous decision every day, and even many times within the day.
This choice will look different for everyone. For me, choosing to redeem the time may mean choosing to leave my bedroom door open as I do my homework, or getting up earlier to make sure I get to school on time. For you, maybe it means not using social media until you finish your school work, or offering to watch a younger sibling for an afternoon. Because each life is different, each choice will also be different.
My mission is to choose to redeem the time. Will you join me?
LOVE. Amazing to see what God is doing in you, Anna girl.

I know this is an old post, Anna, but it’s such a great reminder. I did Bible Bee this year, and this was one of my memory passages. It was such a great reminder to me!

Hey, Lilly! I’m so sorry I’m just now responding! I think Bible Bee is such a cool thing to get involved in (sounds like a great way to redeem the time 😉), as is Bible memory! Keep it up!
